Where do home providers live?
Home Share of Central Vermont (HSCVT) works with home providers in three counties in the center of the state: Washington, Lamoille, and Orange. Some of the homes are in rural areas, while others are in Barre or Montpelier. We have recently had providers in Berlin, Brookfield, Cabot, Cambridge, Chelsea, Fayston, Morrisville, Northfield and Waterbury.
The houses themselves vary a lot. Some are historic Vermont farmhouses, some are modern ranch homes, and some are in mobile home communities. Some are pet friendly, some are not. At a minimum, each home has a separate bedroom for the home seeker.
Sometimes, there are fabulous views.
